If you want to learn or have problems working with your Excel spreadsheets, I am available for a one-on-one tutorial at a venue of your choice. 

I have a dual degree in Computer Science and Business Management and I am teaching computer and accounting courses at the local university.  I have been Microsoft Certified for the last five years and will pursue advanced studies on Excel this coming August.

My basic package covers all the basic functions and I guarantee that, by the end of the session, you will know your way around the application. After completion of the basic package, I also offer tutorial on advanced topics like help with excel formulas and help with excel charts.  I will also be providing notes and printouts of all topics covered.

Tutorials can be scheduled from Mondays to Saturdays, starting from 3:00 in the afternoon up to 9:00 in the evening.  Since each session lasts for two hours, I can only schedule a maximum of two sessions per day.  My rates per session are fixed for the first two hours and will charge a minimal extra for any excess hours.  For locations outside the city limits, transportation to and from the venue are shouldered by the client.

For interested parties, you may call or drop by my office at the university.  I am usually there during mornings and I will be able to personally schedule your session or address any concerns you have regarding the tutorial.  If I am not around just leave your name and number with my secretary and I will get back to you at the soonest possible time.

An Internet problem that hounds us at times

When I started to learn about computers and the internet in its early days, on line communication was the first one to attract my attention.  I am lazy writing letters and the email made me lazier – lol.  Talk about the word convenience invented by inventors who are lazy.  Anyway let’s get back in track.  Having opened an email account with AOL, I only cared about being able to use it.  Computers or systems then still did not have the function of saving or remembering user names and passwords.  You needed to type them in whenever you want access to your account.  I can’t exactly remember what happened on the second time I tried to access my account.  The system led me to answer security question – duh!  I forgot my AOL security question!  It was a real big problem because that was my only email account and even if they email it to me; I don’t have access to it!  My mind was blank and did not know what to do.

It took me some time to think and consider options on how to access that email account again.  So I discussed it with my sons who had email accounts a lot earlier than I did.  They suggested that I create another email account with a different user name and password.  It was only then I realized that I forgot my AOL email password on my first account that led me to be asked the answer to my security question. I did create another account and made sure to write the information including the security question and answer. From that time on I had a notebook where I wrote down all information that I put in the computer.
