Titanic History Month

I am an enthusiast of the Titanic history month, for sure. I started becoming interested to this ship after watching the movie, Titanic. Just like everyone who was able to view the film, I was moved by the movie and as a cruise aficionado; its story truly affected me. In fact I watched the movie for like a hundred times already. I watch it whenever I feel like remembering the shipís superb appearance and how wonderful its furniture and fixtures were. I love recalling Rose and Jackís love story and I canít help myself but cry whenever I remember the tragic lost. I collected books about its history, too and I have a compilation of the Titanicís original photos and its replica. Having a glimpse of these images seems to take me back to the time when the Titanic was still in operation, as if I was able to witness this very famous ship when it was still accessible.

The Love Tale of Rose and Jack

I really love the movie, Titanic Rose, and I canít forget about the characters of Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. Their story is really inspiring. It is a tale that can happen to anyone in real life. In fact, I can relate to it for my relationship with my husband used to be as complicated as theirs. My husband and I belong to a different life status. He came from a much known family, while I am a product of a humble one. We also fell in love instantly and his family detested our relationship at first, as well. But because what we were feeling for each other was too strong, we did not let anyone take us away from each other. These similarities are probably what made the movie, Titanic, my all time favorite. I felt like I was the modern female version of Jack Dawson, while my husbandís the male Rose Dewitt Bukater.

If you decide not to drink alcohol in college, there are plenty of other activities available. These events are often free, or very low cost – so they save a lot of money compared to a night at the bar, or paying for drinks at a party. They are also a great way to meet up with other non-drinkers on campus.
