2 Things About Free Blogsites From Word Camp

May 20th, 2010 by admin

When a Google expert gave his talk at a yearly get seminar for WordPress users, all I wanted to know about keeping my free blog up and alive through eternity were answered. I admit that there were things that I went through that were ultimately boo-boos they talked about. During the Word Camp and this talk, I learned 2 things that are important to the online community. First is the value of loving what you do. Though we would like to profit from our free blogs, being passionate about something helps a lot in building both credibility and a relationship with site visitors. Posers can just sustain their online existence hiring someone with the experience to write for them- not much fun. Most people running a small business online are often good writers who have the eagerness to share their experience and try out new things and write about it (go figure!). Even before you get products up there, traffic will grow once you write about something substantial and keep the tone laid back. One a tip shared in the talk was that loving what you are doing means you would not let terms be a barrier for the information you want to share.  The second is that no matter how small you interest may be, it could turn out to be the niche you can rank well for. Matt Cutt’s stressed well enough that niche sites are the ones that get a healthy flow of traffic. He also talked about starting with a specialized niche and build free blog sites little by little until it gets to be a giant of a well loved site.
