July 31st, 2010 by admin
Looking for an exciting way to learn how to speak and write in the English language? How about immersing yourself in an English speaking country and experiencing that country’s everyday lifestyle and interacting with the culture as you learn? Language International offers English courses in Canada, a country known for it’s breathtaking landscapes and multi-cultural society. Two of of the biggest tourist draws for Canada are the cities of Toronto and Vancouver.
Toronto is the capital of the province of Ontario and the most populated city in Canada. Whether you like seeing the sites or attending sporting events, taking English courses in Toronto will give you a variety of ways to practice what you will learn. Travel ninety minutes out of Toronto to Niagara Falls and take the Journey Behind The Falls, which will have you standing next to a veil of cascading water in a nice yellow jacket. There is also the Table Rock site, where you stand just a measure away from the edge of Horseshoe Falls. To take in the Toronto city scape, go to CN Tower and walk across the glass bottom floor on the observation deck. For a view from a medieval castle, check out Casa Loma with it’s Italian glass dome and gardens with waterfalls and fountains. Major League Baseball fans can use their new English skills by keeping score at a Blue Jays game. Read in English the Hockey Hall of Fame displays or rent some skates and a stick and join in a game of ‘shinny’, the friendly version of ice hockey.
Vancouver, home of the recent 2010 Olympic Games, is just a short distance away from the United States border. English courses in Vancouver offer a lot of English language interaction for those who like outdoor activities as well as those who enjoy shopping. In Stanley Park you can walk, ride a bike or take a horse-drawn carriage to view the parkland and the dramatic waterfront views of the sea wall that wraps around the park. Climb the big wooden steps of the Grouse Mountain Grind path or look out the windows of the airborne gondola called Skyride. Sample some Cantonese cuisine, then tour the sites of Chinatown. Reinforce your English skills by shopping in the Flagship stores of Robson Street and the fashion boutiques in Gastown.
Language International makes it possible to experience the English language with such vividness, that in no time at all, fluency in English will be yours. Through formal classes, travel, and living among the English speaking Canadians, Language International offers the most comprehensive language training available today.
