Labeling a name badge

Who remembers the movie ‘The Color Purple’? Remember in the movie when Celie was learning to read and there labels on everything in the house? Well this is 2010 and now you can upgrade to name badges.

Name badges can be used for the same purpose and you can stick them on the surface of anything anywhere. Just because it’s a name badge doesn’t mean it has to have a name on it. You may be thinking then why is it called a name badge?

Its called a name badge because the main purpose of the badge was for names and that’s what the badges are most used for. Take creativity to a whole new level and use name badges for a whole other purpose, such as labels. It may be somewhat of an expensive label, but that just makes it a classier label. Some people have expensive taste anyway and enjoy the finer things in life, like expensive labels. That is besides the point. If you want to take your decadent labels to a whole other label besides using name badges, well here is an idea. Why not decorate your classy label? That’s right, decorate it.

I’m not talking about cracking open your little sister’s bedazzler and putting sparkles all over it. Name badges can come in any form. You can change anything from the font style to the color and size of the actual label. For a simple but refined classy label, try a gold plated label in cursive. Or for a more simple label, try a flat white background and bold letters and interfacing. If the reading thing still isn’t working out for you, there is still another option left. Name badges don’t stop at decorating the surface, changing the size, and writing the name so nicely on it. Along with a name or word, try putting a picture.

That’s right a picture of a person, object, or logo can be placed anywhere on the name badge. If you want to be funny you can put a picture of an object right over the face of a person. So take your name badges (labels) and have at it, go crazy.
